Install DBack

Download the DMG, drag to Applications, launch. MySQL tools are downloaded automatically on first run — no separate installation needed.

Add a connection

Enter host, port, username, and password. DBack tests the connection and lists your databases. Credentials stay in macOS Keychain.

Choose databases, backup frequency, and where to store dumps. Attach a Slack or Discord webhook for alerts. Done.
