Terms of Use
Please read these terms carefully before downloading or using DBack. By using DBack, you agree to be bound by these terms.
DBack ("the App") is developed and maintained by Spykra Technologies ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of DBack.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue DBack — or any part of it — at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
License
DBack is free to use but is not open source. All source code, design, and intellectual property are the exclusive property of Spykra Technologies.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use DBack on Apple Mac computers that you own or control, solely for personal or internal business purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the App or any part of it.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Use the App to build a competing product or service.
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels in the App.
This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you violate any of these terms.
Privacy Policy
DBack collects no personal data. We have no telemetry, analytics, crash reporting, or any form of data collection built into the App.
All data you enter into DBack — including MySQL credentials, backup files, and destination credentials — is stored locally on your Mac or in macOS Keychain. It is never transmitted to Spykra Technologies or any third party by the App itself.
When DBack downloads MySQL client tools on first launch, it makes a network request to fetch those binaries. No identifying information is sent with that request beyond what your operating system and network provider include in any standard HTTP request.
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any form of cross-site tracking on this website.
Disclaimer
DBack is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Spykra Technologies makes no warranties, representations, or guarantees regarding the reliability, availability, or fitness of DBack for any particular purpose.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your backups are complete, valid, and recoverable. Spykra Technologies shall not be liable for any loss of data, business interruption, or any other loss or damage resulting from your use of, or inability to use, DBack.
In no event shall Spykra Technologies be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
